MEET OUR TEAM
Pastor Lisa Deloach, a native of Bulloch County and a proud graduate of SHS 1982, has dedicated her life to honor and glorify God in all her endeavors. She is happily married to Elder Chris Deloach the church Overseer and together they have been blessed with six children and eight grandchildren.
With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, Pastor Lisa’s nurturing spirit and love for others have drawn people to her. However, she felt something was missing despite a successful nursing career. In 2007, after Bible study sessions at their home, a spark was ignited, and she developed a deep, personal relationship with God.
Answering God’s call, Pastor Lisa and Elder Chris founded The City of David Worship Assembly Inc. The ministry has flourished, impacting countless lives in the community and beyond. Their passion for helping others led to the establishment of various outreach ministries, including The Elijah Food Bank Project, The Esther Closet, and the Flame of Fire Prayer Walk.
Over the past 25 years, Pastor Lisa has preached the Gospel and pastored for 16 years, becoming an open vessel and an instrument of righteousness. Her commitment to God and the Kingdom is unwavering, evidenced by her involvement in various community endeavors, such as serving on the transportation and development committee for the City of Statesboro.
